Requirements For Becoming A Coach

You are not an essay. You are in the show called "life".
You're the main character and his role is to "live"
- Ronit Baras
This is an incredible experience to be a teacher, because teaching is like learning to give is to receive. We teachers have the greatest learning while we teach. My meeting with John was living proof of that concept. I've told many people about John, and helped them find the answer to the great question in life that I would share with you and thank John for giving me one of the best lessons of my life. I hope you take the learning from it too.
You see, coaching is the art of questioning one's life. In this sense, I was a coach from the age of 12 years. Why we do what we do? Why rises morning? Why go to school? There were hundreds of questions and I thought life was a journey of searching for answers.
John was a man we met at our training as a festival. He was a human resources manager and a musician in his spare time. About six months after we met, we called and wanted us any questions about becoming a coach. He came with his partner and more than 2 hours, we talked about coaching courses. From Gal had researched the industry to a level of scientific training, had a lot of information to give to John and we did - the names, prices, times, places web - the whole lot. John wanted a job related to their experience of human resources in place to take some time to express your passion for music. I needed two hours of conversation to see myself in John. When talking about music, his body illuminated and had a smile in his eyes. It was beautiful to see. I think that led me to be 12. "Why do we do?" "What motivates us?" Many of the questions appeared and my coach in wake.
"What makes you get up in the morning? What moves you?" I asked John. He looked surprised. "If you could choose what is why you're here in this life, what would it be? "I wondered. When I asked him, I knew the answer.
It was quiet as if I dropped a bomb on the table. John thought for a while. We were all very quiet, trying to answer that ourselves. Then John smiled and without hesitation said "music.
We all have a purpose in life. That's what makes our hearts beat fast with excitement, what haunts us, no matter what.
In this quiet moment, when the four of us look at the thing that motivates us, I felt my heart speeding. The writing and education can make me get up in the middle of the night. It's like we all have a role to play. Knowing your mission is a very rewarding feeling. But the more I thought about it, the harder it is. If only for the question that we find our purpose, why spend so much time, effort, money and energy on the way to achieve this? "We go to school to get good grades to enter university, to graduate, to get a good job, to be able to get a good salary, to save some money, to take some time off. Free time to travel, to write a story or sing a song, drawing a picture or play a flute. What a waste!
I looked back on life and counted with the waste. If we get what we focus on, then it is not surprising that achieve capacity, but not compliance. Master the art of allowing us them to do things on the road and we are certainly capable of permitting, but not its scope.
I think somehow I felt responsible as an educator. We concentrate in aa train children to make the trip but never teach them to reach the mountains. We teach them to practice their life, instead of teaching them to live. Never terms of promoting the tests. Life is all preparation for a distant goal that can not even see on the horizon. Then we are surprised that when they finish school do not know what do with them. They know how to prepare, but do not know why. When they are older and want to end this quest that never ends, it takes great courage to quit use his great skill, who has been practicing all their lives, the preparation. I think at that moment I realized the power of coaching. I looked at John and understood my purpose much better. In training, we help people to stop preparing and start playing the spectacle of life.
John went and sent us an email ( 'night m writing this to thank you for the great lesson he gave me.
The questions that will help you switch from "test" to "acting in direct "are:
- If I had all the money he wanted, what would I do?
- What is what excites me the most?
- What drives me?
- Which is why you get up in the morning?
- What is my purpose in life?
- Turning my deathbed, what will be the thing I regret not doing?
You need to answer these questions yourself. If it is difficult, let them go and then return to them. The answers will come.
When making decisions, choosing the "show" option on the option to "test". Ask yourself "is this my destination?"
If you need help with their purpose and their decision to seek help. Remember: Happiness is a election
May the force be with you!
